Correspondences
Ruler: Saturn · Card number 21 of the Major Arcana.
The World in a tarot reading
The World is the final tarot card of the Major Arcana, picturing a dancer wreathed in laurel, framed by the four fixed signs. Upright, it means completion, wholeness, and a goal fully accomplished. Beside supportive cards like The Sun or Ten of Cups it glows with celebration and fulfillment, while next to harder cards it reminds you how close the finish line truly is.
As advice, The World invites you to honor what you have completed, integrate the lesson, and step proudly into the next cycle; travel and expansion are often favored. In a timeline or outcome position it is one of the best results possible, promising success and closure. Reversed, it points to a project left unfinished or a delay before you reach the deserved ending.
